On the territory of the countries of the Customs Union, there are many technical regulations that regulate products that go from one country to another. For example, there is TR TS 029/2012 , which establishes mandatory rules and requirements for such types of products as flavors, food additives, and various auxiliary products. You can also add food products in which they are contained here.
In order to import a particular product, it is usually necessary to draw up a document for a specific country where it is planned to import. The presence of a certificate opens access to all countries of the Customs Union. Moreover, the time required to complete the certification procedure itself is greatly reduced. On a national scale, it is also quite useful to have a trade turnover, since it has a good effect on the economy. Well, on a company-wide scale, increasing sales is quite important.
In total, TR CU 029/2012 covers food additives (both simple and complex), flavors, technological aids, all food products (which contain any of the above), as well as the production, storage, transportation, sale and disposal. The regulation does not apply to those things that people themselves produce for personal use, without planning for sale in other countries of the Customs Union.
To confirm compliance with the technical regulations, it is necessary to have a certain list of documents. First of all, the description of the product itself and the technical conditions for it. Also, you need a list of standards that the product meets. If tests and studies were carried out, then their results are needed. If not, then you need to send samples to the laboratory. We also need certificates of the management system at the enterprise, as well as documents for all raw materials and materials that are involved in the process.
The certification process itself is carried out by strictly accredited organizations and is mandatory. The absence of a certificate of conformity under this regulation will incur large fines for the company.
