Rules for choosing a face cream

The cream is a key and indispensable product for skin care. It should be used by every person who actively performs hygiene procedures. However, you need to be able to choose the right cream, and the selection process itself is not as easy as it might seem at first glance. When choosing, you need to take into account many nuances. First of all, a natural face cream should have a light texture, contain useful active ingredients and tone the skin well. The composition of the cream should help fight wrinkles and moisturize the skin.

Rules for choosing a face cream

Before choosing a skin care product from a wide range, you need to determine the type of facial skin. It consists of two layers - upper and lower. The first layer of the skin interacts with the environment, and the second contains nerve endings and blood vessels. The epidermis, which acts as the outer layer, divides the skin into several types: dry, combination and oily. The choice of a suitable cream depends on knowledge of the type of skin. This helps to avoid negative consequences, including allergies, inflammation, rashes or premature aging.

Dry skin

When “tightening” is felt after washing, and relief after using the cream, this indicates the presence of a dry type. It is also characterized by peeling, which distinguishes it from other options. In youth, this type of face looks quite good, so there are no problems with it. But over time, it loses elasticity and causes premature aging.

Dry skin is characterized by thinness, fragility and inability to cope with the adverse effects of the external environment. Therefore, you need to choose a moisturizer that is specifically designed for this type of face. As a rule, it is a dense and oily product that compensates for the lack of a natural protective film.

Oily skin

It is quite capricious, unaesthetic and problematic. It is characterized by wide pores, oily sheen, sticky film, comedones, pimples and acne. However, oily skin is thick, elastic and dense, so wrinkles appear much later. It is recommended to give preference to matting, moisturizing and sebum-regulating creams.

Combination skin

This is oily skin in the T-zone and normal / prone to dryness - on the cheeks. If you use the product for oily skin, then the cheeks will begin to peel off, and the product for dry / normal skin can lead to problems with the chin, forehead and nose . Ideally, it's best to look for a cream that's specifically designed for combination skin types. It does not have bright components, in comparison with other analogues. Typically, such a tool has a soothing, soft, matting and moisturizing composition.
